Description:

Antihistamine and sympathomimetic

Indications:

allergic rhinitis

Contraindications:

Severe hypertension, severe coronary artery disease
Hypersensitivity to sympathomimetics

Precautions:

Pregnancy category C
Angina, prostatic hypertrophy, heart disease
Mild to moderate hypertension, increased intracranial pressure, diabetes mellitus

Adverse Reactions (Side Effects):

drowsiness, lethargy, anxiety, confusion, headache, tremors
dysrhythmias, tachycardia
anorexia, nausea, vomiting

Dosage:

Administered orally (sustained release tablet or capsule, tablet or capsule)

Adult:
- PO SUS REL 1 tablet or capsule every 12 hours;
- PO tablet 1 every 4-6 hours
