Traction sutures are placed within the muscular layer of the distal tube and are used to draw the infundibulum into the peritoneal pocket. Bottom. Several sutures of nonabsorbable suture material are then used to anchor the infundibulum of the tube into the new anatomic subperitoneal location. Care must be taken to assure that the entire fimbriated portion of the tube is firmly held beneath the peritoneum.
