Q1:
C. scabies
Scabies is intensely itchy (especially at night), and this patient reports some itching with the onset of his “bumps.” In addition, scabies can occur on the penis, but it would be unlikely to persist only in that location and recur over a period of a year. One would expect to find similar lesions along the gluteal folds, waistline, in the axillae, over the scapulae, and on the hands. Scabies is relentless and is unlikely to resolve quickly without specific treatment.
