| General Biographical Description: | Dr Nelson is a Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the David Geffen School of Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). She is on staff at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, California and serves there as Chief, Women's Health Care Programs. These programs include the Women’s Health Care Clinic and the Women's Health Care Nurse Practitioner Program at the Los Angeles Biomedical Research Institute at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center and the Women’s Health Care Teams for the Coastal County Health Centers in the County of Los Angeles. She is also the Medical Director for the Research Division of the California Family Health Council. |
